Kirjeldus
Vastuseks klientide otsesele vajadusele tavaliste turbevigade tuvastamise lihtsustatud meetodi järele on Microsoft välja töötanud Microsoft Baseline Security Analyzeri (MBSA). MBSA versioon 1.2 sisaldab graafilist ja käsurea liidest, mis suudab teostada Windowsi süsteemide kohalikku või kaugkontrolli. MBSA töötab opsüsteemides Windows 2000, Windows XP ja Windows Server 2003 ning otsib tavalisi süsteemi väärkonfiguratsioone järgmistes toodetes: Windows NT 4.0, Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Server 2003, Interneti teabeserver (IIS), SQL Server, Internet Explorer ja Office.
